In Thursday's league match, the Trico Pioneers (Campbell Hill, IL) volleyball squad prevailed the host Zeigler-Royalton Tornadoes (Zeigler, IL), by a count of 2-0.

Next up, the Pioneers battle the Farina South Central Cougars (Farina, IL) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 29. Trico will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 league loss to St. Anthony (Effingham, IL).
