Indiana High School Volleyball - Union City crushed by Union County

The Union County Patriots prevailed the host Union City Indians volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.

The Patriots now possess a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Speedway for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 30. Union County will clash with a Sparkplugs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN). The Sparkplugs record now stands at 0-7.

With the loss, Union City drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Indians host Winchester Community (Winchester, IN) to confront the Golden Falcons in a Tri-Eastern match on Tuesday, September 2. The Golden Falcons enter the match with a record of 10-2. Winchester Community won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Southern Wells (Poneto, IN)
