With the win, Columbus upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Callaway (Hogansville, GA) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 6. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

The Grangers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Harris County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 30. LaGrange will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Northside (Columbus, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-1.
