The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Cornerstone Christian Cougars (Rockingham, VA) and the visiting Grace Christian Warriors (Staunton, VA), saw Cornerstone Christian's volleyball squad nip Grace Christian by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Cornerstone Christian upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Cougars travel to Redeemer Classical (Harrisonburg, VA) to play the Griffins in a bout on Friday, September 2. The Griffins go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

The Warriors now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Blue Ridge Christian for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 30. Grace Christian will play a Bears squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Cornerstone Christian (Rockingham, VA). The Bears record now stands at 1-1.
