The Blue Devils now sport a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Cherryville for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 31. Maiden will meet a Ironmen squad coming off a 8-1 non-league win over West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Ironmen record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Bessemer City drops to 0-4 on the season. The Yellow jackets travel to Bandys (Catawba, NC) to meet the Trojans in a non-league test on Thursday, September 1.
