Civic Memorial Eagles (Bethalto, IL) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Breese Central Cougars (Breese, IL), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles face the Metro-East Lutheran Knights (Edwardsville, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 30. Civic Memorial will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 11-2 non-league loss to Gibault Catholic (Waterloo, IL).
