The Cougars now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newnan for a 6A Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, August 30. Alexander will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 15-0 league win over New Manchester (Douglasville, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Bowdon falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Red devils host Callaway (Hogansville, GA) to battle the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, August 31. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a record of 2-6. Callaway won 13-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA)
