Pepperell Dragons (Lindale, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Armuchee Indians (Rome, GA), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Dragons now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Coosa for a 1A D-I Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, August 30. Pepperell will face a Eagles squad coming off a 11-0 league loss to Dade County (Trenton, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Armuchee falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Indians host Darlington (Rome, GA) to face the Tigers in a 1A D-I Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, August 30. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. Darlington won 16-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA)
