East Coweta Indians (Sharpsburg, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA), 12-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now sport a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Campbell for a 7A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, August 30. East Coweta will face a Spartans squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Kell (Marietta, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 8-3.

With the loss, Pike County falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Pirates host Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA) to face the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, August 31. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 1-6. Starr's Mill won 14-2 in their recent league challenge against Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA)
