The Flowery Branch Falcons routed the host Madison County Red Raiders softball squad by a final score of 10-2 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Falcons (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Loganville (Loganville, GA). The Red Devils go into the 5A Region 8 battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Loganville topped Jefferson (Jefferson, GA), 8-0, in a league battle.

The Red Raiders now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Cherokee Bluff for a 4A Region 8 battle on Tuesday, August 30. Madison County will meet a Bears squad coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA). The Bears record now stands at 5-4.
