Georgia High School Softball - Lovejoy loses to Westlake

The Westlake Lions softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Lovejoy Wildcats to 4 in the Lions non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Westlake improves its record to 2-8 on the year. The Lions travel to Coretta Scott King YWLA (Atlanta, GA) to clash with the Soaring Eagle in a non-league game on Thursday, September 1. The Soaring Eagle come into the game with a record of 2-2.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Woodward Academy War Eagles (College Park, GA) in a 6A Region 3 game, on Wednesday, August 31. Lovejoy will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The War Eagles come into the game with a 5-3 record after their 4-3 league loss to Alcovy (Covington, GA).
