The Antioch Christian Academy Gators volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Cornerstone Christian Academy Cougars to 0 in the Gators league victory on Monday.
The Gators now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lee Park Prep for a non-league game on Thursday, September 1. Antioch Christian Academy will meet a Knights team coming off a 3-2 league win over Providence Classical (Rock Hill, SC). The Knights record now stands at 4-1.
The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Mintz Christian Academy (Roseboro, NC). The Lions enter the CCAA game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Mintz Christian Academy gained a win over Sandhills Classical Christian (Southern Pines, NC), 2-0, in a league game.
