North Carolina High School Volleyball - Mitchell North Buncombe

The North Buncombe Black Hawks topped the visiting Mitchell Mountaineers volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Monday's non-league test.

The Black Hawks now have a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Owen for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 30. North Buncombe will confront a Warhorses team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Warhorses record now stands at 3-2.

The Mountaineers (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Erwin (Asheville, NC). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Erwin was knocked off by Tuscola (Waynesville, NC), 3-0, in a non-league test.
