The Salisbury Hornets volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Montgomery Central Timberwolves to 1 in the Hornets non-league victory on Monday.
The Hornets now have a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thomasville for a Central Carolina 1A/2A game on Tuesday, August 30. Salisbury will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-5.
The Timberwolves (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Forest Hills (Marshville, NC). The Yellow Jackets enter the non-league game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Forest Hills dropped by Union Academy (Monroe, NC), 3-0, in a non-league game.
