With the win, Santa Teresa upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Desert Warriors host Roswell (Roswell, NM) to play the Coyotes in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 2. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Roswell lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM)

The Tigers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mesilla Valley Christian School for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5.
