The Bellmont Braves (Decatur, IN) soccer nudged the host Norwell Knights (Ossian, IN), 1-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
With the win, Bellmont moves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran (Fort Wayne, IN) to battle the Cadets in a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 30. The Cadets go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran lost 6-0 in their recent league bout against Fort Wayne Northrop (Fort Wayne, IN)
In their next game, the Knights battle the Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, August 31. Norwell will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 7-1 league win over South Adams (Berne, IN).
