The Cherokee Braves volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Andrews Wildcats to 1 in the Braves non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Braves now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hayesville for a non-league game on Thursday, August 31. Cherokee will meet a Yellowjackets team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Swain County (Bryson City, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 5-1.
The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC). The Black Knights enter the non-league game with a 0-4 record.
