North Carolina High School Volleyball - West Johnston over Fike

The West Johnston Wildcats (Benson, NC) volleyball overcame the visiting Fike Demons (Wilson, NC), 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, West Johnston upgrades its record to 2-3 on the year. The Wildcats host East Wake (Wendell, NC) to face the Warriors in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 5. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 4-3.

The Demons now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Smithfield-Selma for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 5. Fike will face a Spartans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 2-5.
