The Havelock Rams held off the host New Bern Bears volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Rams now have a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host D.H. Conley for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 5. Havelock will confront a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 7-0.
The Bears (0-5) will now prepare for their test against South Central (Winterville, NC). The Falcons enter the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, South Central was nudged by J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
