The Smoky Mountain Mustangs volleyball team (Sylva, NC), went down 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting North Henderson Knights (Hendersonville, NC)

The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Tuscola (Waynesville, NC). The Mountaineers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Tuscola went down by Franklin (Franklin, NC), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the West Henderson Falcons (Hendersonville, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 31. Smoky Mountain will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Falcons come into the match with a 3-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC).
