Fort Cobb-Broxton Mustangs (Fort Cobb, OK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Alex Longhorns (Alex, OK), 9-0 in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 14-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calumet for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 31. Fort Cobb-Broxton will battle a Chieftains squad coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Hammon (Hammon, OK). The Chieftains record now stands at 4-15.

With the loss, Alex falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Fletcher (Fletcher, OK) to battle the Wildcats in a Class A challenge on Tuesday, September 5. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 21-7. Fletcher won 12-8 in their recent non-league challenge against MacArthur (Lawton, OK)
