Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Blessed Trinity Titans (Roswell, GA), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Greyhounds now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they host River Ridge for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, August 30. Pope will battle a Knights squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Woodstock (Woodstock, GA). The Knights record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Blessed Trinity falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Westminster (Atlanta, GA) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 31. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 4-2. Westminster lost 8-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Wesleyan (Norcross, GA)
