The Fletcher Wildcats softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host MacArthur Highlanders to 8 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Fletcher improves its record to 21-7 on the year. The Wildcats host Alex (Alex, OK) to clash with the Longhorns in a Class A game on Tuesday, September 5. The Longhorns come into the game with a record of 6-10. Alex lost 9-0 in their recent league game against Fort Cobb-Broxton (Fort Cobb, OK)

In their next game, the Highlanders clash with the Duncan Demons (Duncan, OK) in a 5A District 1 game, on Thursday, August 31. MacArthur will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Demons come into the game with a 7-10 record after their 13-1 non-league loss to Tuttle (Tuttle, OK).
