Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Tahlequah Tigers (Tahlequah, OK) and the visiting McAlester Buffaloes (McAlester, OK), witnessed Tahlequah's softball squad prevail over McAlester by a count of 17-1.

The Tigers now sport a 12-10 record. They play next when they host Glenpool for a 5A District 4 match on Thursday, August 31. Tahlequah will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Collinsville (Collinsville, OK). The Warriors record now stands at 11-13.

With the loss, McAlester moves to 6-11 on the season. The Buffaloes host Durant (Durant, OK) to meet the Lions in a 5A District 4 match on Thursday, August 31. The Lions go into the match with a record of 8-12. Durant lost 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Latta (Ada, OK)
