The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Griswold Tigers (Griswold, IA) and the host AHSTW Vikings (Avoca, IA), saw Griswold's volleyball squad beat AHSTW by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Griswold upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Tigers host Fremont-Mills (Tabor, IA) to play the Knights in a Corner bout on Thursday, August 31. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Fremont-Mills lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Lourdes Central Catholic (Nebraska City, NE)

The Vikings now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Treynor for a Western Iowa bout on Thursday, September 7. AHSTW will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-0.
