Texas High School Volleyball - Springtown can't hold off Boyd

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Boyd Yellowjackets volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Springtown Porcupines.

The Yellowjackets (17-5) will now prepare for their battle against Peaster (Peaster, TX). The Greyhounds come into the non-league battle with a 18-7 record. In their last battle, Peaster nudged Bowie (Bowie, TX), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Porcupines clash with the Graham Steers (Graham, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 1. Springtown will attempt to advance on its 11-13 season record. The Steers come into the battle with a 14-8 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Iowa Park (Iowa Park, TX).
