In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Tipton Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Clayton-Ridge Eagles.

The Tigers (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against West Liberty (West Liberty, IA). The Comets come into the River Valley South battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, West Liberty lost by Clear Creek-Amana (Tiffin, IA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Starmont Stars (Arlington, IA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 5. Clayton-Ridge will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Stars come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Marquette (Bellevue, IA).
