In Tuesday's league battle, the host Corbin Redhounds volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the South Laurel Cardinals.

The Redhounds (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Williamsburg (Williamsburg, KY). The Yellowjackets come into the District 50 battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Williamsburg lost by North Laurel (London, KY), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Cardinals clash with the Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY) in a District 50 battle, on Tuesday, September 5. South Laurel will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Colonels come into the battle with a 9-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY).
