Nevada High School Volleyball - Valley edged by Del Sol

The Del Sol Dragons held off the visiting Valley Vikings volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.

The Dragons now have a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Virgin Valley for a non-league contest on Thursday, August 31. Del Sol will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Cheyenne (North Las Vegas, NV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Valley moves to 0-3 on the year. The Vikings host Bonanza (Las Vegas, NV) to face the Bengals in a 4A Mountain contest on Friday, September 8. The Bengals go into the contest with a record of 3-1.
