Next, the Spartans clash with the Coventry Comets (Akron, OH) in a Portage Trail - Metro battle, on Thursday, August 31. Springfield will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Comets come into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 3-2 league win over Woodridge (Peninsula, OH).
