The Monroe Hornets prevailed the visiting Franklin Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.
The Hornets now have a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilmington for a non-league test on Thursday, August 31. Monroe will confront a Hurricane team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Hillsboro (Hillsboro, OH). The Hurricane record now stands at 4-1.
The Wildcats (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Bellbrook (Bellbrook, OH). The Golden Eagles enter the Southwestern Buckeye - Southwestern test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Bellbrook gained a win over Edgewood (Trenton, OH), 3-0, in a league test.
