The Union Bobcats volleyball team (Union, OR), went down 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Grant Union Prospectors (John Day, OR)

The Prospectors (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Vernonia (Vernonia, OR). The Loggers enter the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Vernonia went down by Rainier (Rainier, OR), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats encounter the Echo Cougars (Echo, OR) in a 1A Old Oregon challenge, on Friday, September 8. Union will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record.
