Ohio High School Volleyball - Harding over Maplewood

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Harding Skippers (Fairport Harbor, OH) and the host Maplewood Rockets (Cortland, OH), saw Harding's volleyball squad beat Maplewood by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Harding upgrades its record to 1-3 on the year. The Skippers travel to Cornerstone Christian (Willoughby, OH) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Cornerstone Christian won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Harvey (Painesville, OH)

The Rockets now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Edgewood for a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 30. Maplewood will play a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Grand Valley (Orwell, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 4-2.
