Tennessee High School Volleyball - Summit tips Independence

August 29, 2023: Spring Hill, TN 37179

Summit Spartans (Spring Hill, TN) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Independence Eagles (Thompson's Station, TN), 3-2 in a league match.

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Brentwood Bruins (Brentwood, TN) in a AAA District 11 game, on Thursday, August 31. Summit will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Bruins enter the game with a 8-3 record after their 3-1 league win over Independence (Thompson's Station, TN).

The Eagles (10-1) will now prepare for their game against Brentwood (Brentwood, TN). The Bruins enter the AAA District 11 game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, Brentwood nipped Nolensville (Nolensville, TN), 3-1, in a league game.
