The Jellico Blue Devils volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Washburn Pirates to 1 in the Blue Devils league victory on Tuesday.

The Blue Devils now possess a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tennessee School for the Deaf for a A District 2 game on Thursday, August 31. Jellico will meet a Vikings team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Eagleton College & Career Academy (Maryville, TN). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.

The Pirates (2-7) will now prepare for their game against Eagleton College & Career Academy (Maryville, TN). The enter the A District 2 game with a 1-11 record. In their last game, Eagleton College & Career Academy defeated Tennessee School for the Deaf (Knoxville, TN), 3-0, in a league game.
