The Jim Hill Tigers volleyball team (Jackson, MS), was nudged 3-2 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Pearl River Central Blue Devils (Carriere, MS)

The Blue Devils (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Hattiesburg (Hattiesburg, MS). The Tigers enter the Class 6 Region 3 challenge with a 3-10 record. In their last challenge, Hattiesburg was nudged by Forrest County Agricultural (Brooklyn, MS), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers encounter the West Jones Mustangs (Laurel, MS) in a Class 6 Region 3 challenge, on Thursday, August 31. Jim Hill will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to South Jones (Ellisville, MS).
