The Kirksville Tigers held off the host Marshall Owls volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Tigers now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mexico for a Class 3 District 7 test on Thursday, August 31. Kirksville will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Fulton (Fulton, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.

The Owls (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Fulton (Fulton, MO). The Hornets enter the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Fulton held off Centralia (Centralia, MO), 3-2, in a non-league test.
