The Lafayette Commodores topped the visiting Pontotoc Warriors volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Commodores now have a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corinth for a Class 4 Region 1 test on Tuesday, September 5. Lafayette will confront a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to New Hope (Columbus, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 3-8.

The Warriors (8-9) will now prepare for their test against New Hope (Columbus, MS). The Trojans enter the non-league test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, New Hope gained a win over Corinth (Corinth, MS), 3-0, in a non-league test.
