North Carolina High School Volleyball - Lee County routed by Union Pines

The Union Pines Vikings volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Lee County Yellow Jackets to 0 in the Vikings league victory on Tuesday.

The Vikings now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scotland for a Sandhills 3A/4A game on Tuesday, September 5. Union Pines will meet a Fighting Scots team coming off a 3-0 league win over Hoke County (Raeford, NC). The Fighting Scots record now stands at 3-3.

The Yellow Jackets (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Patriots enter the Sandhills 3A/4A game with a 4-4 record.
