The Luverne Tigers topped the visiting McKenzie Tigers volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Tigers now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highland Home for a 2A Area 5 test on Wednesday, August 30. Luverne will confront a Flying Squadron team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Red Level (Red Level, AL). The Flying Squadron record now stands at 2-0.
The Tigers (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Pleasant Home (Andalusia, AL). The Eagles enter the 1A Area 2 test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Pleasant Home was knocked off by Rehobeth (Dothan, AL), 2-1, in a non-league test.
