Kentucky High School Volleyball - Metcalfe County overwhelmed by Monroe County

August 29, 2023: Edmonton, KY 42129

In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Monroe County Falcons volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Metcalfe County Hornets.

The Falcons (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Clinton County (Albany, KY). The Bulldogs come into the District 16 battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, Clinton County defeated Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Hornets encounter the Edmonson County Wildcats (Brownsville, KY) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 31. Metcalfe County will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 2-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Grayson County (Leitchfield, KY).
