North Carolina High School Volleyball - Robbinsville over Murphy

August 29, 2023: Murphy, NC 28906

In Tuesday's league contest, the Robbinsville Black Knights (Robbinsville, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the host Murphy Bulldogs (Murphy, NC), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Black Knights battle the Andrews Wildcats (Andrews, NC) in a Big Smoky Mountain 1A contest, on Thursday, August 31. Robbinsville will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Cherokee (Cherokee, NC).

With the loss, Murphy moves to 2-2 on the year. The Bulldogs host Swain County (Bryson City, NC) to battle the Maroon Devils in a Big Smoky Mountain 1A contest on Thursday, August 31. The Maroon Devils go into the contest with a record of 6-1. Swain County lost 3-1 in their recent league contest against Hayesville (Hayesville, NC)
