In Tuesday's league contest, the Southern Nash Firebirds (Bailey, NC) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Nash Central Bulldogs (Rocky Mount, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Firebirds battle the Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets (Roanoke Rapids, NC) in a The Big East 2A/3A contest, on Thursday, August 31. Southern Nash will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Franklinton (Franklinton, NC).

With the loss, Nash Central drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Franklinton (Franklinton, NC) to battle the Rams in a The Big East 2A/3A contest on Thursday, August 31.
