The Newton-Conover Red Devils prevailed the visiting West Caldwell Warriors volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's league game.

The Red Devils now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincolnton for a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A game on Thursday, August 31. Newton-Conover will meet a Wolves team coming off a 3-2 league win over Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 6-0.

The Warriors (0-6) will now prepare for their game against Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Bears enter the Catawba Valley Athletic 2A game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Bunker Hill dropped by Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC), 3-2, in a league game.
