Iowa High School Volleyball - Wapello edged by Notre Dame

The Notre Dame Nikes held off the host Wapello Indians volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Nikes now have a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Danville for a SEI - South test on Thursday, August 31. Notre Dame will confront a Bears team coming off a 2-0 league loss to West Burlington (West Burlington, IA). The Bears record now stands at 1-2.
The Indians (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Columbus (Columbus Junction, IA). The Wildcats enter the SEI - North test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Columbus was nudged by Notre Dame (Burlington, IA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
