North Carolina High School Volleyball - South Mecklenburg over Olympic

August 29, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28210

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC), saw South Mecklenburg's volleyball squad beat Olympic by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, South Mecklenburg upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Sabres travel to Berry (Charlotte, NC) to play the Cardinal in a So Meck 4A bout on Thursday, August 31. The Cardinal go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Berry lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Palisades (Charlotte, NC)

The Trojans now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Central Academy for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 6. Olympic will play a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to West Stanly (Oakboro, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 0-7.
