The Wildcats (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Alleghany defeated Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Fighting Blues encounter the Altavista Colonels (Altavista, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 31. Parry McCluer will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Colonels come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Rustburg (Rustburg, VA).
