The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Piedmont Academy Cougars (Monticello, GA) and the host St. George's (Milner, GA), saw Piedmont Academy's volleyball squad beat St. George's by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Piedmont Academy upgrades its record to 5-8 on the year. The Cougars travel to Young Americans Christian (Conyers, GA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-7.
The now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Oak Mountain Academy for a GIAA 5AA bout on Thursday, August 31. St. George's will play a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Covenant Academy (Macon, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-10.
