Michigan High School Football - Britton Deerfield tops Pittsford

August 29, 2024: Britton, MI 49229

The Britton Deerfield Patriots football squad scored 68 points and limited the visiting Pittsford Wildcats to 58 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Patriots now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mendon for a non-league test on Friday, September 6. Britton Deerfield will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 60-0 non-league win over New Buffalo (New Buffalo, MI). The Hornets record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Pittsford drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Burr Oak (Burr Oak, MI) to meet the Bobcats in a Southern Central - Blue (8 Man) test on Friday, September 6. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 1-0. Burr Oak won 60-0 in their recent non-league test against Athens (Athens, MI)
