In their next game, the Huskies face the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines (Wadena, MN) in a Mid Northwest - Central challenge, on Friday, September 6. Pillager will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 38-7 non-league loss to Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg (Kerkhoven, MN).

The Silverstreaks (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Kimball (Kimball, MN). The Cubs enter the Mid Northwest - Three Rivers Blue challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Kimball held off Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted (Howard Lake, MN), 48-6, in a non-league challenge.
